Evan Borthwick opened Redwood Pizzeria in 2005 at the corner of Graham Hill Road and Highway 9 — the gateway to the San Lorenzo Valley. Twenty years on, the same family still works the room.

Our oak-fired oven runs hot enough to leave the leopard-spotted char that a conveyor never will. Pies go in on a peel and come out in ninety seconds — crisp at the edge, tender in the middle.
It’s the same oven we lit in 2005, and it hasn’t cooled much since.
