20Years on Hwy 9
Owner-operated · Felton · since 2005

Twenty years under the redwoods, run by the family that built it.

Evan Borthwick opened Redwood Pizzeria in 2005, in the old building at the corner of Graham Hill Road and Highway 9 — the gateway to the San Lorenzo Valley. Two decades on, the same family still works the room: wood-paneled walls, a handful of red booths, and the regulars who have claimed the same table every Friday since the doors opened.

Organic by conviction, not by trend. The dough is organic and we do not rush it — it gets the days it needs or it does not go in the oven. The marinara is organic, the basil pesto is made in-house each morning, and there is a real gluten-free crust and a cashew vegan cheese on any pie — because in this valley, somebody at the table always needs one.

Organic, thin-and-crisp California pies.

Thirteen named pies on three house bases — organic marinara, white ricotta, or house basil pesto — baked until the edges blister. This is what they look like coming out of the oven.
